Embossing (raising the parchment paper) An embossing tool is used to emboss a relief into the parchment paper. This tool is available in different shapes and sizes. A fine stylus for example is used to emboss fine lines. For larger areas the large or extra large ball embossing tool is used etc. Since the front of the card has to be raised, the embossing is mostly done on the reverse side of the paper.
